2014 BEAUTY PAGEANT NEWSMAKERS IN JAPAN   ７位　若尾綾香さん：ネバーギブアップ精神 ２０１４ミス•ユニバース徳島代表（タイトルなし）、２０１４ミス•アース日本大会３位（ミス•ウォーター）。その後若尾さんは内面、外面をさらに磨きました。そして、ついに念願の世界大会（ミス•スプラナショナル）に参加しました。タイトルを取ることはできませんでしたが、これまで若尾さんの頑張りを応援・サポートする人々に恩返しをすることができました。     第６位　本郷李來さん-衝撃が走った日本代表 　 本郷さんはご覧の通り決して不細工ではありません。しかし、ミスとして変わったルックス（顔）に話題が集まりました。肌も決してキレイではないというコメントが多く書かれました。 「なぜ彼女が日本代表に選ばれたのか？」この質問にあなたは即答することができますか？   第５位　忍者コスチュームで登場-竹内実絵子さん 竹内さんは漫画「ナルト」の登場人物のマントを身に纏いステージに登場。階段を降りてマントを脱ぎ、忍者のコスチュームでパフォーマンスを行いました。海外の人々からも絶賛の声を多く聞きました。 竹内さんはこのナショナルコスチューム部門でもトップ２０入賞を果たしました。   第４位　ミス•ワールド日本大会-河合ひかるさんに用意された自動エスカレーター 大会期間中半分以上のイベントに欠席した河合さんが日本代表の座を獲得しました。世界大会では英語の能力が大切です。河合さんの英語のレベルはかなり低く、日本大会出場の時に英語のスピーチがありましたが、散々でした。その後、世界大会に向けて彼女の英語力が改善されなかったのが残念です。     第３位　ミス•ユニバース日本大会-予想外の結果 高いレベルのファイナリストが集結したミス•ユニバース日本大会。 ビューティーキャンプ中から全く目立たなかった辻恵子さんが日本代表に選ばれました。 この幕切れに、ミスコンの専門家だけでなくファンも驚きを隠せなかった。あまり知られていませんが、辻さんは長崎県大会の時に一度セミファイナルで脱落しました。その後、敗者復活として長崎大会に出場し優勝を果たしました。辻さんの決してあきらめない気持ち•姿勢に賞賛の声が上がっています。   第２位　ミス•グランドインターナショナル世界大会-竹内実絵子さんの軌跡 今年のニュースメーカーに2度目の登場です。竹内さんは万全の準備で臨み、優勝するに十分ふさわいパフォーマンで第２回大会を盛り上げました。 結果はトップ２０入賞、そしてソーシャルメディア賞を受賞しました。   第１位　ミス•ツーリズム•ワールド世界大会-近藤智美さんが世界一に輝く 今年のナンバーワンは何といってもこのニュースです。 北海道出身の近藤さんは２０１２年ミス•ユニバース日本大会ファイナリスト。 その約２年後、１万４千キロ離れた南米ベネズエラの地で世界一という称号を手に入れた。
