THE NEXT edition of the biennial Mr World pageant to be held in the Philippines has been moved again to June 8 2019, with 100 contestants expected to partake in the competition.
The Miss World Organisation made the announcement on its Facebook page on January 19. The pageant, originally set for September 16 2018, was moved to January 2019, before the organization confirmed the new dates for the pageant. The finals will now take place at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Contestants are expected to arrive in Manila on May 18 “for a tour of the country as they compete against each other in a series of extreme challenges” that include an Army Assault Course, Extreme Fitness, Ultimate Sport, Multimedia, Talent and an explosive Style & Fashion segment.
New for this year will be the first ever Mr World Beach Party where the contestants will model a range of beach fashionwear before competing in a series of challenges to take the Beach Champion title.
Rohit Khandelwal of India will be the longest reigning Mr World titleholder following the move to reschedule the Mr World finals. Missosology.Org
