Solange Hermoza, a Top 3 finalist in Miss Peru 2020 competition, was crowned Miss Supranational Peru 2021 in a special ceremony held May 27.
The 25-year-old entrepreneurial engineer, model and actress from La Libertad will represent Peru at the 12th Miss Supranational competition in Poland on August 20. She received the crown from reigning Miss Peru and Miss Supranational Peru 2019 Janick Maceta, who placed third runner-up in Miss Supranational 2019.
“A new challenge, an adventure ahead, a dream, not only mine … of a whole PERU. How do I feel? Blessed and grateful,” Hermoza wrote in Spanish on Instagram.
Mister Supranational Peru
Also crowned in the event was Mister Supranational Peru 2021 Varo Vargas. He will represent the country at the 5th Mister Supranational pageant in Poland on August 21.
Peru has yet to win the Miss Supranational crown. It currently ranks 29th in Missosology Big 5 Ranking. Missosology.Org
