Anthony Clarinda of Curacao was named the winner of Men Universe Model (Mister Universe) 2018 pageant, besting more than 30 other contestants during the finals held July 27 at the Anfiteatro de Puerto Plata in Dominican Republic.
He received the sash from last year’s winner Kevin Montes. Clarinda also won Best in National/Fantasy costume.
First runner-up was Sebastián Gasañol of Uruguay, who also bagged the Best Body award. Venezuela’s Jaime Betancourt finished second runner-up while Tunisia’s Jason Brj was third runner-up. Bradley Zee of the Netherlands and Samuele Carenzi of the Philippines were fourth and fifth runners-up, respectively.
Completing the 12 finalists were the delegates from Chile, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, India, Margarita Island and Ukraine. The other special awards went to the delegates of France (Mister Photogenic), Peru (Mister Catwalk), Margarita Island (Mister Elegance). Missosology.Org
