Aussie pageant fans, take note of the date, 31 August. For this is when the selection of Miss World Australia will take place. If this is not exciting enough news, the event is moving from it’s long standing home in Melbourne to the glamour of the Gold Coast and none other than the glitzy Versace Hotel.
Deborah Miller, franchise holder for Miss World Australia has been wooed like many by the Gold Coasts growing reputation as an exemplary location for the hosting of events. We believe the Gold Coast and Miss World Australia are a perfect match, in fact given the recent hosting of the Commonwealth Games, the GC would be the perfect locale for the World final.
So we await with baited breath the 31st of August and look forward to the current reigning title holder Esma Voloder who has represented us with poise, intellect and eloquence as she crowns her successor who will attend the 68th edition of the Miss World pageant which will take place on the 8th of December in Sanya, China.
