Angela Rowson, 22, was crowned as the new Miss Earth New Zealand during a pageant held at SkyCity Convention Centre in Auckland. A Wellington native, Angela is an advocate for environmental awareness and sustainability. She will represent New Zealand at the Miss Earth 2024 pageant which will be held in Vietnam later this year.
Also crowned during the finals night are: India Holder (Miss Earth New Zealand-Air 2024), Sevaye Stoni-Rose (Miss Earth New Zealand-Water 2024) and Karaponga Sanders (Miss Earth New Zealand-Fire 2024).
The Miss Earth franchise in New Zealand is now under Pageanz Ltd. The new management hopes to clinch the country’s first ever Miss Earth crown. The highest placement of New Zealand at the pageant was a Top 10 finish of Tashan Kapene in 2019.
