The Miss Philippines-Earth 2016 pageant held an evening gown competition at the Landbank Auditorium, Saturday night, May 14th. Emerging as the top winner is Melanie Mader representing the Filipino Community of Vienna, Austria as she took the gold medal and was also named as the Queen of the night. Kiaragiel Gregorio representing the Filipino Community of London took the silver medal while Imelda Schweighart of Puerto Princesa took bronze.
The finals of the Miss Philippines-Earth will be on June 12 which coincides with the Philippine Independence Day. To mark the occasion, the pageant will be held in Kawit, Cavite, the site where the independence of the Philippines from Spain was proclaimed.
