Umanda Induwari is 21 years old and she is currently reading for the degree of International Trade at the Lycée Albert Schweitzer High School in Le Raincy, France. She won as the 2nd runner up of Miss Sri Lanka in France – a beauty pageant held in Paris among the Sri Lankan community. Umanda also won two awards: Best in Catwalk & Miss Congeniality. She is also a Professional Dancer at Sri Desi Dancing Group which is a well-known eastern dancing group in Paris.
Umanda Induwari will spearhead the official charity project of Miss International Sri Lanka focusing in the aid of cancer patients. Some of the projects include building Sri Lanka’s first ever Child-Parental Care Unit of the Pediatrics Cancer Unit of National Cancer Hospital of Sri Lanka .
Umanda Induwari will compete for the Miss International 2023 later this year in Tokyo, Japan. The finals is set on October 26.
