Catalina Quintero, 23 years of age and representing Amazonas, was crowned as the new Miss Mundo Colombia. She has a degree in International Business Administration and will represent Colombia at Miss World 2024. This year, the 2022 winner, Camila Andrea Pinzon, will soon fly to India to try her luck at Miss World 2023 which will culminate on December 9.
The Miss Mundo Colombia 2023 pageant was held at Club Militar de Oficiales in Bogota. Salome Cuartas was named as the Virreina while Luisa Lizcano and Jenifer Pulgarín are the first and second runners-up, respectively.
Interesting to note that Colombia is yet to win the Miss World crown. The country has placed as first runner-up in 4 instances – 1981, 1983, 1996, 2002.
