先週２５日（日）に行われた２０１５ミス・グランド・インターナショナル世界大会のファイナルで、埼玉県出身の日本代表・田中綾郁さん（２５）の活躍にタイ国内そして日本国内が湧き、多くの感動を呼びました。 　その活躍の裏には、叶美（カナミ）ワークショップ(ミスコン専門トレーニング）の存在があります。世界大会前に行われた合宿では、座学（自己分析、大会の傾向、To do listの明確化）、ビキニウォーキング、ナショナルコスチュームの表現練習、イブニングガウンウォーキング、ミスコン界の常識・マナー講座、スピーチ練習、Q&A練習などが行われました。この叶美ワークショップの合宿（トレーニング）で田中さんは、世界大会で結果が出せる準備がほぼ整いました。 ８０人の各国代表の中からトップ１０に入賞した田中さん。手作りのナショナルコスチューム（よさこいの衣装）でトップ２０に入賞。田中さんの登場を見た瞬間にトップ２０入賞を確信しました。彼女にしかできない表現、そして、その時まで見せていなかった衣装の早変わりは本当に見事でした。 体調面でトラブルが起きた他の国の代表を看護師としてサポートすることもできました。事前の水着審査のウォーキングも素晴らしかったですが、残念ながら今年はトップ２０の発表がありませんでした。インターネット投票でもトップ２０に５週連続で入賞、SNSにも彼女自身が現地の様子を頻繁に投稿しました。 また田中さんは得意のダンスを活かし、ダンスオーディションで結果を出し、オープニングのダンスでほぼセンターの 位置を勝ち取りました。 ファイナルではトップ２０の発表で最後に「Miss Japan」がアナウンスされとてもドラマチックでした。 トップ１０スピーチでは、１０人の中で最もシンプルで力強いスピーチを披露。フィリピンのドレスデザイナー、Leo Almodalがデザインしたダークグリーンのイブニングガウンでベスト・イン・イブニングガウン賞を受賞することもできました。 当日の会場では、現地のファンからのJapanコールと拍手が彼女を後押ししました。 田中さんはフルタイムで看護師として病院へ勤務していますが、ミスコンで世界一が見えるその場所まで辿り着き、強さと美しさの象徴となりました。 「優しい言葉は、短くて簡単なものであっても、ずっとずっと心にこだまする」　- マザー・テレサ これまで述べた田中さんの活躍や姿はこれからもずっと世界の人々の心にこだまするに違いありません。 /伊勢翔太
