The 20-year-old native of Kfarchouba region wil represent Lebanon at Miss Universe 2022 and Miss World 2023 pageants. Yasmina Zaytoun is a journalism student Notre Dame University-Louaize and has trained under the Al-Jazeera TV which is based in Doha, Qatar. She was crowned in a glittering pageant which is the first for Miss Lebanon since the pandemic started. The first runner-up is Maya Aboul Hosn, who can take up the task of competing in Miss World in case of schedule conflict. The second runner-up meanwhile is Jacintha Rached. Lara Hraoui and Dalal Hoballah completed the Top 5.

Lebanon boasts one Miss Universe – Georgina Rizk who won in 1971. At Miss World, it’s highest placement was in 2015 when Valerie Abou Chacra became one of the Top 5. The country’s last placement at Miss Universe was in 1973 in the Top 12 while at Miss World, the county made it to the Top 40 in 2017. To date, it is ranked 55th in the Big5 Ranking.
