Virginia Limongi Silva won the title of Miss World Ecuador 2014 and will represent her country at the Miss World 2014 contest which is to be held in London on December 14. The 20 year old Manabi native was visibly thrilled with her victory and is looking forward on winning the coveted international crown. She had been working tirelessly for the Fundación Cardiología del Cristo de Consuelo, a foundation that helps children with cardiovascular diseases.
The Miss World Ecuador contest was held this year in Parque Lineal at the port city of Guayaquil. Ecuador is yet to win the Miss World crown but has posted 3 instances where it made it to the semis. As of 2013, the country is ranked 44th at the Big4 Ranking.
