Tunde Blaga was crowned at Aurea Ana Palace Hotel in Budapest. The 27-year-old model will now represent Hungary at the Miss Universe 2023 pageant which will be held in El Salvador. This will be her second participation at the Big5 pageants. In 2019, she represented Hungary at the Miss Earth pageant held in Manila.
Tunde Blaga hopes to become the first Hungarian woman to win the Miss Universe crown. She beat 15 other contestants during the national pageant. Lilla Csasztvan and Nóra Kenéz were named as first and second runners-up respectively.
