Tamara Jemuovic was crowned Miss Earth Canada 2016 during the finals held August 19 at the La Plaza Salles de Reception in Montréal.
The 22-year-old 5’9″ beauty from Toronto, Ontario will represent Canada in Miss Earth 2016. Jemuovic also won Best in Swimwear and Tosca Style Award.
Samantha Fraughton (Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta) finished first runner-up and bagged the Best in Evening Gown award. Dasol Lee (Montreal, Quebec) placed second runner-up. Jasmine Herrera (Guelph, Ontario) and Natalie Carriere (Timmins, Ontario) were third and fourth runners-up, respectively.
Other special award winners were: Beauties for A Cause, Chiantelle Rey (British Columbia); Miss Photogenic, Crystal Yoo (Calgary, Alberta); Miss Talent, Lea Zhang (Montreal, Quebec); and Miss Congeniality, Kaylee Christine Shallow (Hamilton, Ontario).
