Rubén Castillero Juanes was proclaimed Mister International Spain 2017 on Saturday in Matalascañas.
The representative of Bizkaia bested 56 other contestants for the right to represent the country in the next edition of the Mister International pageant. Castillero, 23, is a water polo player, professional diver, and personal trainer.
First runner-up was Valladolid (Gabriel Carro) while Mr Extremadura (Alejandro Cifa) finished second runner-up.
The rest of the Top 6 were the representatives of Andalucia (Victor Galvez), Malaga (Alexander Calvo) and Barcelona (Josep Perez).
Spain was represented by Daniel Torres in the last edition of Mister International where he finished in the Top 9. Torres replaced last year’s MRI Spain winner Daniel Rodriguez who resigned for undisclosed reasons. Missosology.Org
