Pascale Bélony has been designated to represent Haiti at the 70th edition of the Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December.
“It is my honor to carry the Haitian flag on this year’s Miss Universe stage,” Bélony posted on Instagram. “And to anyone who has been told told they weren’t good enough, this is for you. You deserve a seat at the table you desire – so go on and run after that dream.”
The 27-year-old advocate for women’s and holistic health previously represented Haiti at the 12th Miss Supranational pageant in Poland and placed in the Top 24.
Born and raised in Cap-Haïtien, she completed her studies at the University of Florida where she earned bachelor degrees in Health Education and Nursing.
