La victoria de Mariam Habach en el Miss Venezuela 2015 fue a todas luces controversial. Cuando fue coronada como la ganadora del certamen obteniendo el derecho de representar a su país en la justa de Miss Universo, mucha gente decidió juzgarla prematuramente y con ello también a Venezuela, afirmando que los años dorados de su país terminarán este 2016. Algunos incluso afirmaron que el resultado del certamen estuvo arreglado y que la corona había sido previamente vendida al mejor postor. Mariam fue simplemente inferior para el gusto de muchos expertos en belleza, no pocos criticaron sus rasgos faciales e incluso se mofaron de su estructura ósea.

 

Pero al igual que Venezuela, una nación que actualmente experimenta serios problemas económicos; Mariam podría haberse deprimido un poco pero sería un error contarla fuera. La reciente transformación de la Srita. Habach es reflejo del espíritu resiliente del pueblo venezolano. No importa la visión política que tengan, está claro que la gente de este país sudamericano está haciendo todo lo posible por salir avante.

 

Lo mismo sucede con Mariam Habach y su misión por llevar a Venezuela su octava corona de Miss Universo. En vez de preocuparse demasiado por la negatividad que siempre ha rodeado su victoria, ella está enfocando su energía en estar lista para la competencia máxima y estamos seguros de que su arduo trabajo al final dará resultado. Ella ya se encuentra lista para competir en Miss Universo y hoy poy hoy es una concursante de alto calibre por la corona. Veraderamente, Mariam Habach es una reina de belleza digna de imitar.

A lot of issues were raised with regards to the victory of Mariam at the Miss Venezuela contest. When she was crowned as Miss Universe Venezuela, many people decided to judge her early on and came into conclusion that the golden age of her country in the world of pageantry will end this 2016. Some even claimed that the contest was rigged and the crown was sold to the highest bidder. Mariam was simply too inferior for the taste of many beauty watchers. Many criticized her facial features and some bashed her body structure.

But like Venezuela, a nation that is currently experiencing acute economic problems, Mariam may had been down but she was never out. The recent transformation of Mariam Habach is a reflection of the resilient spirit of the Venezuelan people. Today, Venezuela is suffering from economic meltdown. No matter what political view they subscribe on, it is clear however that the Venezuelan people are making the best out of their dire situation.

The same goes through with Mariam Habach and her quest for her nation’s eighth Miss Universe crown. Instead of worrying too much about the negativity that surrounds her victory, she focused all of her energies in making sure that she will be ready for the pageant. Her hard work has finally paid off. She is Miss Universe ready and is now one of the serious contenders for the crown. Truly, Mariam Habach is a beauty queen worth emulating.
