Oleksandra Kucherenko, an 18 year old dancer from Dnipro won the Miss Ukraine 2016 title. She officially takes the Miss World Ukraine 2016 title and will compete soon at the Miss World 2016 pageant which will take place in Washington D.C., USA.
Oleksandra Kucherenko is currently studying journalism at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. No Ukrainian woman has ever won the Miss World crown. There were 3 Ukrainian women who made it to the semis of Miss World and this excludes a Top 15 finish in 2011 and Top 20 finish in 2013.
