The 69th Miss World Final is no longer taking place in Thailand.

In an interview with Piers Morgan on the show “Good Morning Britain”, Miss World chairman and CEO Julia Morley revealed that the three-week competition has been moved to London.

Around 130 contestants will arrive in London on November 20 with the grand finale taking place on December 14 at ExCeL London. Vanessa Ponce de León will crown her successor during the final show to be broadcast globally.

“London is the greatest city in the world to visit. It’s where Miss World started in 1951 as part of the Festival of Britain celebrations and this year, we are going to put on the best show ever,” Morley said.

The Miss World 2019 edition was initially set for December 7 in Thailand. Negotiations with the Thailand producer has reportedly failed, Missosology has learned. Missosology.Org
