For the third time in a row, the annual Miss Universe Thailand contest conducted a contest showcasing the diverse costumes of Thailand, ranging from the usual Siamese fashion to the tribal wardrobes. All of the 40 finalists of Miss Universe Thailand 2015 participated. The winner of the contest is Preeyaporn Pilaguntha (Contestant No. 29) who used a costume entitled Princess of the Hills. Her costume is inspired by the tribes in the northern hills of Thailand. Each major tribes are represented in the various details of the costume including the headdress.
