The London based interior designer will represent Malta at the Miss Universe 2023 pageant which will be held in El Salvador. Elli Portelli is 25 years of age and she represented the town St Julian’s. Julia Cluett, representing Floriana is the first runner-up while Ntombi Malinga representing San Gwann is the second runner-up.
Interestingly, Malta is yet to land in the semis of Miss Universe ever since it first participated in 1968. The country is currently ranked 84th at the Big5 Ranking.
