Saitama City. Omiya Marui played host today for the press conference and mini-fashion show of the 2016 dermozone Miss Supranational Japan contest, with finals to be held on May 6th at the Omiya Sonic City. 20 finalists were presented to the public who were mainly surprised to see the lovely contestants from all over Japan, who came to Saitama to win the crown, currently being held by Mieko Takeuchi. Headed by its new national director, Steven Haynes, who is a protegee of Ines Ligron during the latter’s MUJ days, the MSJ vows to change and revolutionize the pageant scene in Japan.
During the event, Miss Higashi Tokyo, Emiri Tsukui and Miss Kumamoto, Saki Naganuma, were awarded “Miss Marui” by the sponsors.
