Rira Hongo, a 21-year-old student from Tokyo, won the coveted title of Miss International Japan 2014 held on January 25 at the Yakult Hall in Tokyo’s Ginza District.   The 174 cm tall  Hongo will represent Japan at Miss International 2014 to be held in Tokyo, Japan on November 11th.

Judging the finals were Akemi Shimomura (Chairperson of the International Cultural Association), former Miss International Japan Hiroko Kumon (1967) and Etsuko Kanagae (2010), Toshitake Chino (Soin Esthetique Chairperson) , and Manjot Bedi (Creative Director of Global Integrated).

First Runner-up was Tomoe Minagawa, a half Japanese, half Taiwanese stunner from Ishikawa Prefecture. The Second Runner-up was Remi Oosugi of Chiba Prefecture and 3rd Runner-up was Risa Shichino of Hokkaido Prefecture.
