Delegates of Miss International 2016 are now having a great time in Tokyo as they are being treated with real life shopping experience, to prove that nowhere else in the world is more exciting than to shop in this gigantic metropolis.  True to its commitment to change the misconception about Tokyo and Japan, the Miss International Organization, in cooperation with the Japan Travel Agency and Tobu Group, brought the girls today at the TOKYO Solamachi, a huge shopping complex just below the TOKYO SKYTREE.

“Shopping in Tokyo is fun.  Surprisingly, it is much cheaper to shop here than in my country,” says Miss Denmark, Sara Danielsen who is a 23-year-old nurse based in Copenhagen.  All of the delegates were separated into several groups where they got to experience, among others, how to take care of a bonsai plant.  They also got the chance to go to the viewing deck of the TOKYO SKYTREE TOWER, which is the world’s tallest free-standing tower at 634 meters.

Tobu Railways, which is the railway arm of Tobu Group, will bring the girls to Nikko National Park tomorrow, October 13th, to visit one of Japan’s famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites. /Stephen I. Diaz
