Lisbeth Valverde is a 28-year-old special education teacher and she will represent Costa Rica at the Miss Universe 2023 pageant. She beat 9 other finalists to secure the prestigious national title. Natalia González was named as the first runner-up while Yoselyn Porras was hailed as the second runner-up.
Lisbeth Valverde hopes to become the first Costa Rican woman to win the Miss Universe crown. Her country landed in the semis in six instances but has never progressed beyond the Top 10.
