Kimberly Castillo, the representative of Higuey won the Miss Republica Dominicana 2014 title in a Sunday pageant held at Pinatini Carlos Eduardo Brito National Theatre. She is a 25 year old beauty who will now represent the Dominican Republic at the Miss Universe 2014 contest. Completing the Top 5 are first runner-up Miss Santiago, Aletxa Mueses; second runner-up Miss Comunidad Dominicana en México, Dhío Moreno; third runner-up Miss Distrito Nacional, María del Mar López; and fourth runner-up Miss Punta Cana, Analíz de la Cruz.
