Đỗ Thị Hà was crowned Hoa hậu Việt Nam (Miss Vietnam) 2020 in glittering ceremonies held November 20 at the jam-packed Phu Tho Gymnasium in Ho Chi Minh City.

She edged out 34 other finalists for the title and the right to represent the Southeast Asian nation in the next edition of the Miss World competition. She received the crown from outgoing queen Tran Tieu Vy.

Phạm Ngọc Phương Anh and Nguyễn Lê Ngọc Thảos were first and second runners-up, respectively.

The 32-year-old pageant pushed through despite the threats of natural disasters and Covid-19 pandemic.
