Cassandra Yap is a 24-year-old Johor native who reigned supreme in a field of 17 contestants. Aside from the crown, she also won around US$ 13, 000 worth of cash prizes and scholarship grant. In less than two weeks, she will compete at the Miss International 2023 pageant and hopes to become the first Malaysian to win the prestigious crown.
The Miss International Malaysia 2023 pageant was held at Sabah International Convention Center in Kota Kinabalu. Named as first runner-up is Kimberly Vung while the second runner-up is Christina Lee.
