Caitlin Tyson, representing Kirk Freeport, was crowned the new Miss Cayman Islands during the finals held August 11 at the Westin Casuarina Resort in Seven Mile Beach.
The actress, model and writer will head on to compete at the 2018 Miss Universe competition to be held in December in Bangkok, Thailand. She also bagged the Best Smile and People’s Choice awards.
Josani Schneider, who won Best in Gown, finished first runner-up. Tiffany Connolly placed second runner-up.
The rest of the special awards went to Vanessa Douglas (Miss Congeniality) and Nateisha Foster (Best Legs, Miss Photogenic). Missosology.Org
