The Miss Bolivia 2020 pageant concluded on November 14 with the crowning of the country’s representatives to three of the Big5 major beauty competitions.
Lenka Nemer of La Paz was crowned Miss Bolivia Universo 2020, marking the first time in 35 years that a representative from La Paz won the top title in Miss Bolivia. The 23-year-old international relations student will represent the country in the next edition of the Miss Universe competition.
Carolina Fernández of Pando bagged the Miss Bolivia Internacional 2020 crown. She will travel to Japan for the Miss International beauty pageant.
Cochabamba’s Luz Claros placed first runner-up while Santa Cruz’s María José Terrazas was second runner-up. María José Arana (Litoral), María José Hurtado (Santa Cruz), Estefanía De los Ríos (Tarija), and Teresa Sánchez (Residentes) completed the rest of the Top 8.
Earlier in the show, Alondra Mercado of Beni was crowned Miss Bolivia Mund0 2020. She will represent the country in the next edition of Miss World. Luz Claros and Monserrath Soruco were first and second runners-up, respectively.
