Anna Verhelska, 26 years of age, has been named as Miss Ukraine Universe 2015 in a simple ceremony held on October 18. Anna will compete at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 20.
Although Ukraine is yet to win the Miss Universe crown, it is considered as one of the countries to watch out for at Miss Universe. In 2010, Anna Poslavska placed as 3rd runner-up. In 2011, Olesya Stefanko finished as first runner-up which is so far the highest placement for the country. In January 2015, during the Miss Universe 2014 contest, Diana Harkusha became 2nd runner-up.
Which such high quality candidates, indeed Ukraine is a country to watch out for. But will Anna Verhelska live up to the expectations?
