Encouraged by its first ever Miss Universe semifinals placement last year, The Bahamas has crowned a new queen that will carry its banner at the Miss Universe 2022 pageant. Emerging as the clear winner from a pool of 9 contestants is Angel Cartwright. She represented Long Island and has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from University of the Bahamas. She has also obtained her MBA from Florida International University
The Miss Bahamas Universe 2022 was held at the Atlantis Showroom on July 31st. Finishing as first runner-up is India Davis while Natalya Pratt is the 2nd runner-up. Completing the top 5 are Bashar Isaacs who was named 3rd runner-up and Rickia Bonimy who was named as the 4th runner-up.
