Alexis SueAnn was crowned Miss World Malaysia 2019 during the finals held October 6 at the Mega Star Arena in Kuala Lumpur.
The 24-year-old actress and TV host bested 19 other candidates for the title and the right to represent the southeast Asian nation at the 2019 Miss World finals in London in December.
“I have very little time left and I know it’s going to be one big roller coaster ride, but I promise I will pour my heart and soul into giving Malaysia the best,” SueAnn posted on Instagram.
Juliana Sambai and Melissa Jespoh placed first and second runners-up, respectively.
