More than 1,500 people gathered at the Lions Community Centre in the Cayman Islands on June 24 to welcome Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach to the British Overseas Territory.
Wurtzbach visited the islands to to take part in the Pinoy Pride Independence Month celebration.
She also met reigning Miss Cayman Islands Monyque Brooks and contestants for next year’s Miss Cayman competition at the Lobster Pot on Saturday.
Wurtzbach previously visitied Bali (in Indonesia), Canada, Peru and Ecuador as part of her duties as Miss Universe.
