２０２２ Miss Tourism World の世界大会のイベントやアクティビティーが11月27日から12月10日にかけてベトナム北部の各省・市の史跡などで開催された。北部紅河デルタ地方ビンフック省で行われた世界大会で、日本代表の塙江里奈さん(29歳)が見事グランプリに輝いた。 世界大会では、世界各国から集まった３５人のファイナリストが、屋外に設置されたステージでアオザイや少数民族の衣装を身にまとうなど、ベトナムの伝統文化に因んだ様々なパフォーマンスを披露。最終審査の質疑応答では、トップ５に残った日本、ベトナム、フィリピン、ナイジェリア、ロシアの代表が、ベトナムでの経験で学んだことや帰国後に伝えたいメッセージを発表。日本代表の塙さんはシンプルなメッセージを英語で伝えた。　その結果、今年のグランプリを日本代表の塙江里奈さんが受賞。塙さんはこれまで３度ミスコンの日本大会に出場。あと一歩のところで日本代表を逃すなど悔し涙を飲んだ。そんな塙さんに世界大会出場のチャンスが舞い込んだ。 ...
