Miss Guadeloupe Indira Ampiot was crowned as Miss France 2023 in a pageant held in the city of Châteauroux in central France. She is 18 years of age and stands 5’9.5”. The first runner-up is Agathe Cauet who represented Nord-Pas-de-Calais while  Marion Navarro of Franche-Comté is the second runner-up. Completing the the top 5 are Axelle René of Guadeloupe and Alissia Ladevèze of Auvergne.

Indira Ampiot is expected to represent France in either Miss Universe and/or Miss World pageant. It’s the 93rd edition of the pageant and for the first time, any woman above 18 years of age is allowed to compete regardless of height, marital status or child bearing status. A total of 30 contestants participated in the contest.
