With the victory of Rolene Strauss at Miss World 2014 pageant, the first runner-up Ziphozakhe Zokufa took over the title of Miss South Africa. She was officially crowned yesterday, December 17 in an event attended by the press and overseen by Melinda Bam.
Ziphozakhe, who is a singer and TV production student, represented the Eastern Cape at the nationals. She will now compete at the Miss Universe 2014 pageant next month which is to be held in Miami, Florida.
