The Reinado de El Salvador 2020 pageant concluded on November 2 with Vanessa Velasquez winning the Miss Universe El Salvador 2020 title.
The 24-year-old model from San Salvador edged out 10 other candidates for the crown and the right to represent the country in the next edition of Miss Universe. She was crowned by last year’s winner Zuleika Soler.
Velasquez recently earned her bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing communications from Escuela de Comunicación Mónica Herrera.
Also crowned in the same event were Miss Intercontinental El Salvador 2020 Levi Maria Toney Flores and Reina Hispanoamericana El Salvador 2020 Tiffany Katota. Alexandra Torres and Kenia Rivas were first and second runners-up, respectively.
