Ahtisa was one of the youngest candidates in Bb Pilipinas 2018 at 20 years old, but she stood on stage like she was an experienced pageant veteran. She deserving bagged the second most important title of the night: Bb Pilipinas International 2018.

“I’m not gonna go to Japan just to be the second best,” Ahtisa said during her send-off party prior to traveling to Japan for her international pageant mission. And the moment she set foot in the Land of the Rising Sun, the beauty queen was always in her A-game. She was among the front-runners early on, but blossomed further in the last stretch of the pageant.
On the finals night, Ahtisa placed first runner-up to eventual Miss International Mariem Velazco of Venezuela. She might have missed the crown by a hairline, but the “Barbie Doll” already etched her place in pageant history as one of the most beautiful Miss Philippines ever to have graced the international scene.
