While the actual venue is yet to be disclosed, it is very likely the finals night will be in the city of Dubai on May this year. This is the first edition of Miss World wherein the Morley family no longer controls 100% of the pageant since British businessman Dipendra Gurung is now a co-owner.
The last edition of Miss World which was supposed to be held in 2021 was cancelled and moved to March of 2022 due to COVID-19 outbreak. The current Miss World, Karolina Bielawska of Poland, is considered as the Miss World 2022.
