Thailand has secured another win in the Big5 major beauty pageants, with heavy favorite Anntonia Porsild bagging the Miss Supranational 2019 title on December 6 in Silesia, Poland.
The 22-year-old Thai-Danish stunner is the first from her country to bag the Miss Supranational title. Prior to this victory, the Land of Smiles came so close to winning Miss Supranational twice when Nanthawan Wannachutha and Parapadsorn Disdamrong finished first runner-up in the 2012 and 2014 editions, respectively.
Namibia’s Yana Haenisch finished first runner-up to Porsild, while Southeast Asian neighbor Jesica Fitriana of Indonesia settled for second runner-up. Peru’s Janick Maceta and Venezuela’s Gabriela De La Cruz were third and fourth runners-up, respectively.
Last month, Thailand won the Miss International 2019 crown in Japan with Sireethorn Leearamwat. Missosology.Org
