Sheynnis Palacios was crowned Miss Mundo Nicaragua 2020 during the finals held February 15 at Hotel Holiday Inn and Convention Center in Managua.
The former Miss Teen Nicaragua bested 13 other candidates for the title and the right to compete in the next edition of the Miss World contest. She also won the Beauty with a Purpose and Social Media special awards.
Sherly Casco finished first runner-up while Fernanda Salazar (Miss Photogenic) placed second runner-up. Completing the Top 6 (in order) were Dayana Cuadra (Best Body), Masielis Bravo (Orgullo Nica), and Odalys Rodríguez.
