Sarah Loinaz was crowned Miss Universe Spain 2021 during the finals held October 16 in Tenerife.
The 23-year-old model from Gipuzkoa bested 12 other finalists for the title. She will represent the nation at the 70th Miss Universe competition in Eilat, Israel in December. She suceeded 2020 titleholder Andrea Martínez.
“Today I tell you that nothing is impossible, that we dream big and work hard for what we want. Let’s use every obstacle for our own evolution and let’s never stop having faith,” she posted on Instagram.
Teresa Calleja Palazuelo and Carmen Serrano placed first and second runners-up, respectively.
Loinaz studied business administration and management. She speaks four different languages as she has grown up in a multicultural family and has lived in several countries.
