Rebeka Harto, 21 years of age from Karal, will represent Hungary at the Miss International 2017 pageant. Rebeka is currently studying Health Sciences and can speak both Hungarian and English. She intends to study Russian soon.
Hungary participated at Miss International briefly in 1991 and in 2004. It made a comeback in 2011 and since then, a Hungarian beauty queen participated annually. So far the country has only one semifinalist – Brigitta Otvos in 2013, who also went on to enter the Top 5. Last year, Linda Szunai was tagged as one of the front-runners at Miss International 2015 but failed to make it to the cut. Miss International Hungary 2016, Csillag Szabo, will represent the central European country in Tokyo, with the final night slated on October 27th.
