Rebeca Rodríguez Mora is the new Miss Universe Honduras after being declared as the overall winner in a pageant held at Plaza de las Banderas. She represented the host city of San Pedro Sula. Rebeca is 20 years of age and has degree in business and digital marketing. She will represent Honduras at the Miss Universe 2022 pageant which will he held later this year.
A total of 14 contestants competed for the crown and title. Named as first runner-up is Jaanay Watkis who represented the capital city of Tegucigalpa. Honduras is ranked 57th in the Big5 Ranking. At the Miss Universe pageant, the country can only boast one semifinalists – Pastora Pagán Valenzuela, who finished as one of the Top 15 during the Miss Universe 1955 pageant.
