Portugal crowns reps to 2018 Big5 pageants

The Miss Portuguesa 2018 pageant was held on July 28 with the crowning of the country’s representatives to four of the Big5 beauty pageants.

For Miss World
Carla Rodrigues, who represented the Portuguese community in Spain, was crowned the new Miss Portuguesa. The 25-year-old beauty, who also won Miss Photogenic, will represent Portugal at the 2018 Miss World pageant to be held in China in December.

Miss Portuguesa 2018 1st runner-up was Ana Rita Aguilar who will compete in Reinado Internacional del Cafe in Colombia. Vania Correia placed 2nd runner-up and will compete in Miss Global Beauty in Malaysia.

For Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Supranational
Meanwhile, last year’s winner Filipa Barroso was appointed Miss Universe Portugal 2018. The 18-yera-old student, who represented her country at the 2017 Miss World finals, will now head on to compete in the next edition of the Miss Universe pageant.

The Miss International Portugal 2018 title went to Carina Neto. She will travel to Japan in November for the 2018 Miss International beauty pageant.

Alina Mulyavka was named Miss Supranational Portugal 2018. She will represent the country at the 10th Miss Supranational pageant to be held in Poland in December.

Also crowned in the event was Priscila Alves as Miss Grand International Portugal 2018. She a Top 10 finalist in Miss Supranational 2017. Missosology.Org
