Hậu Hoàn Vũ Việt Nam 2015 (Miss Universe Vietnam 2015) is Phạm Thị Hương! Ngô Trà My finished as first runner-up while Thị Lệ Hằng is the second runner-up.
Phạm Thị Hương was crowned in a highly organized event held in Diamond Bay Resort in Nha Trang, Vietnam. Nha Trang was the host city of the Miss Universe 2008 – the only time when Vietnam made it to the semis of Miss Universe. Born in 1991, Phạm Thị Hương is a lecturer at the College of Cultural Arts in Saigon. She is no stranger in the world of modeling and pageantry as she had represented Vietnam internationally.
Vietnam, despite public interest on pageants and despite having candidates with great potential, was hampered by government regulation. It used to be that the government can only allow one pageant to be held annually. This year though, the restrictions seem to be lifted as both Miss World Vietnam and Miss Universe Vietnam successfully staged their respective pageants within the same year.
Phạm Thị Hương will now compete in the next edition of Miss Universe. There is no news yet about the venue and date of the Miss Universe pageant. The ownership of the pageant was transferred from Donald Trump to IMG Models recently.
