After all, it is the position she held since 1997 when she was tapped by the then owner of the pageant Donald Trump. She has a background of making shows for ABC, NBC, MTV and Columbia Pictures. Under the helm of Paula, Miss Universe as a pageant was able turn around from a money losing organization into a pageant with decent profits.
According to the Miss Universe Organization, the resignation of Paula will be announced in today’s National Costume show. The pageant was bought by Thai media tycoon Anne Jakkaphong in October 2022 for US$20 million.
