Park Ha Ri, the first runner-up in Miss Universe Korea 2019, has been appointed as Korea’s representative to the next edition of the Miss Universe pageant.

The announcement was made by Miss Queen Korea national director Jenny Thorn in a Facebook post on December 17.

Park works as a model and speaks fluent English. She graduated from Riverside Girls High School in Australia and is currently a student of the department of modeling at Dongduk Women’s University in Seoul.

“We, the Miss Universe family, hope this difficult period of the coronavirus pandemic comes to an end soon and can meet again early next year at the stage of Miss Universe,” Thorn said.

Korea has yet to win the Miss Universe crown. It currently ranks 19th in Missosology Big 5 Ranking. Missosology.Org
