Representing the landlocked nation of Mongolia at the Miss Universe 2023 is Nominzul Zandangiin. She was crowned during a pageant held at Zaisan Hill Complex in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar. A total of 17 contestants vied for the crown.

Nominzul Zandangiin is 18 years of age and is currently pursuing a degree in accounting at the National University of Mongolia. She hopes to become the first ever Mongolian woman to win the Miss Universe crown.

Mongolia is a relatively newcomer at the Big5 pageants. The current pageant began in 2018 but it is only on its 3rd edition due to the pandemic. The country is currently ranked 86th at the Big5 Ranking.
